Artists bio.

Hi my name is Peter Murphy, but I sign all my work as Peadr O’Murchu, which is the Gaelic form of my name. I have only been painting for a few years. My previous life involved a career in aviation and bringing up three sons and sailing down to Mexico in a thirtyfive foot sloop. When I first came to the Pacific North West many moons ago I fell in love with the Northwest coast Indian art and took woodcarving classes with a local Master Carver and produced a few pieces I was proud of. Because of a neighbors artwork I again signed up for classes with local artist and teacher Mary Tudor So here I am still learning, still experimenting.
